Permanent Residence

Long-term pathways to Canada.

At Springwater Immigration we provide the information and representation you need across every Canadian permanent residency program — Express Entry, Family Sponsorship, Business Programs, Federal Skilled Worker, and Canadian Citizenship.

01

Express Entry

If you are a worker in a professional, managerial, skilled, or technical role, you have the option of applying for permanent residency through the Express Entry program. It is the application stream for skilled immigrants who want to settle in Canada permanently and become economically established. Candidates complete a secure online Express Entry profile covering skills, work experience, education, language ability, and other information the government uses to assess credentials.

If you meet the criteria, you are placed in the pool and ranked against other candidates using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). When your score falls within a draw, the government issues an Invitation to Apply for Canadian permanent residence.

We don't just place you in the pool — we guide you to the highest CRS score you can reach. Get in touch for high-level expertise, consultancy, and immigration advice as you apply for permanent residency through Express Entry.

Family Sponsorship

Among the immigration programs of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is a visa track known as Family Sponsorship. Through this category, a Canadian citizen or permanent resident can sponsor a family member or relative for permanent residency in Canada — including a spouse, common-law partner, conjugal partner, dependent children, parents, grandparents, and certain other relatives.

Each category has a specific set of requirements the sponsor must meet. We prepare the relationship evidence, financial documentation, and supporting forms needed for IRCC to approve your file with confidence — and advise on the strongest available option to bring your family to Canada.

Business Programs

Canadian business immigration is one of a kind. It includes the Start-Up Visa Program and the Self-Employed Persons Program, alongside provincial entrepreneur streams. Applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria; when those are satisfied and the application succeeds, you can immigrate to Canada through your business activity.

How can you qualify for the Start-Up Visa program? You need to obtain a commitment certificate and letter of support from a designated private-sector organization — a venture capital fund, angel investor group, or business incubator — willing to invest in your business idea. The business must be a qualifying business, and you must meet the proof-of-funds requirement based on your family size.

How can you qualify for the Self-Employed Persons program? You need relevant experience as a self-employed person in cultural activities or athletics, or to have participated at a world-class level. The minimum requirement is at least two years of relevant experience in the five years prior to your application, and you'll also be assessed on age, education, language, and adaptability.

Provincial entrepreneur programs are also available for business owners with relevant work experience. For consideration under any federal or provincial business category, get in touch to discuss your options.

Federal Skilled Worker

Foreign skilled workers and professionals are always in demand in Canada. Canadian immigration continues to welcome skilled workers who can contribute to the country's growing economy on a permanent basis. The Federal Skilled Worker Program is designed for individuals with specific work experience who wish to reside in any Canadian province or territory, and there are eligibility criteria candidates must meet.

Selection factors include education, work experience, age, adaptability, language ability, and arranged employment. Successful candidates receive a Permanent Resident visa that allows them — and their family — to immigrate to Canada.
